Group Movement for Nervous System Care

Gentle, grounding movement experiences that support ease, presence, and renewed vitality.

When the nervous system is supported and regulated, the body does not lose energy. It becomes available for it. Breath deepens, movement feels more accessible, and the system can both rest and recharge. These classes are designed to help you soften unnecessary tension so clear, refreshing energy can enliven your day.

about the practice

Group movement classes support nervous system regulation through gentle yoga, breath, sound, and rest. Rather than pushing or striving, the emphasis is on awareness, pacing, and listening to the body. When the nervous system feels safe, the body naturally opens into greater mobility, steadiness, and vitality.

These classes are for people who want to feel more present in their bodies, more energized without being overstimulated, and more connected to themselves and their surroundings.

Group Movement Classes

Offered on the beach in small groups, these sessions invite you to breathe, move, and reconnect with yourself, nature, and a supportive community. Practices are accessible to all levels and are designed to leave you feeling both grounded and refreshed.

Sound and integration

Sound, rhythm, and gentle vibration are woven into many classes to support settling and integration. Crystal singing bowls and gentle vocal toning may be included to help the nervous system organize and to support a sense of clarity and ease.

Styles of group movement

Gentle Yoga Flow

A gentle, alignment-based practice that supports ease, length, and embodied awareness. Classes are thoughtfully sequenced to help release common tension patterns, especially in the neck, shoulders, and spine, while encouraging a felt sense of support from the ground.

Movement is approached from the inside out, emphasizing breath, sensation, and responsiveness rather than shape or performance. Classes close with extended rest, accompanied by crystal singing bowl vibrations and your instructor’s soothing singing to support integration.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga is a deeply supportive practice using props and long-held poses to invite the nervous system into rest and recovery. This style of yoga supports the parasympathetic nervous system and is especially helpful for stress, anxiety, fatigue, injury, and nervous system overwhelm.

By meeting the body with steadiness and care, restorative practice allows energy to replenish naturally and supports a sense of calm clarity that carries into daily life.

Restorative Yoga is currently offered as a dedicated private session.
